Do those of you who call yourselves Christian (or have any other religion, really) honestly believe that there is some magic man who lives in the sky who can watch everyone and everything, who has an evil place underground that he can send you to when you die, despite the fact that you're dead, full of fire and pain and eternal discomfort, if you've been bad. Or do you just say you do and just don't want to believe in the logical answer. Your situation is much like that of a small child who refuses to give up his belief in Santa Claus, just because that's what he's been told his whole life, and his nonexistance would mean that he exerted an unnecessary amount of energy in your belief. Christianity is often based on this same principle, I think. Right now, Christians are in the stage where they've been told that they're wrong and shown the logic behind that statement, but still ignorantly cling to their stupid beliefs.

Do those who call themselves Atheists honestly believe that for some magical power two masses collided to create a perfect sphere and that the "big bang" was so powerful and hot (because of friction) that it create a world in which: one, it rotates around the sun providing life for all parts of the earth and two, create a world that is covered in 2/3rd water. Going with the "logical" answer. Can you honestly believe that we grew from some fish or monkey called "evolution" yet monkey and fish have now somehow stopped evolving and we do not see any intermediate stages of evolution? Can we honestly believe then that we have some sort of conscience to make decisions of right or wrong? If there is a big bang then what is the point of life? What is the big deal if I killed someone tomorrow? What is the big deal about love? Can you honestly think that we walk around aimlessly with no purpose. That to me is a sad existence.

A true Christian is a person who has the Spirit of Christ within and as a consequence believes that Christ is God, that he came through the virgin birth, and that he resurrected from the dead. You know as well as I that this cannot be proved to human satisfaction nor argued logically. You are dealing with the supernatural and is the supernatural stupid?

What proof do you have that you can so vehemently deny the written word??

It is alright to ask questions of things you do not understand, but the answers are all waiting for you. You simply have to open up the book and read it. In case you don't know of which book I'm referring: its known as the Holy Bible.

So are the paths of all that forget God; And the hope of the godless man shall perish: Whose confidence shall break in sunder, And whose trust is a spider's web.
Job 8:13-14 (ASV)

I am a Christian. I believe in God. I believe EVERY WORD of the bible. I have accepted Jesus into my heart and I am led by the Holy Spirit. It is ALL very REAL. You don't have to believe - but it's your loss.

I also believe St. Nicholas existed, and the "Santa" of today is another way of celebrating his spirit of giving WHEN PEOPLE AREN'T GETTING WRAPPED UP IN THE COMMERCIALISM OF IT ALL. (In other words, when we unselfishly give to charities who help those less fortunate have a nice holiday; like Adopt-A-Family, Salvation Army, etc, we are in fact playing "Santa" AND showing Christ to the world.)

First of all....................God is not going to send you to hell just because you are bad and do wrong.................if you go to hell after you die, it's because you followed Satan and didn't trust in Jesus Christ! And maybe us Christians aren't the stubborn or ignorant people...................it's people like you.................who don't believe in Jesus Christ........that are ignorant. We have proof that God existed..........The Bible! all you evolutionists got is scientists who say we were all made from a speck of something then formed from apes! Which one sounds logical.................A God whos always been their or humans from an ape????????? Thats what I thought..........God is true......unlike that ape theory..............so sir please don't be calling me or my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord ignorant, because you'll only find that your the ignorant person!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why do you care so much about what people believe. are these believers hurting you in any way or asking anything from you to believe? if you would put more effort into your own life, you may find it's none of your damn business what others choose to believe!

I stopped reading after magic man, when I realized you are just ranting about why you disagree with my beliefs. If you are gonna express your opinion, do it in a civilized manner please.
