I hate brushing in the morning, takes too long. So I was wondering if I could just use Crest Pro Health mouthwash instead. However, I don't know how effective it would be in removing plaque buildups from overnight.

It's best to brush then rinse with mouthwash. You need to scrub away plaque that builds up as you sleep. An article on dental care says you should brush your teeth for no less than 2 minutes. Two minutes isn't really that long. :)

No you need to brush your teeth first to remove the plaque and food then use mouthwash and don't rinse it out. It kills the germs in your mouth that way.

You should also be flossing after meals, if you don't have time in the morning try carrying a travel toothbrush and toothpaste they are really compact and can fit anywhere. That way you can do it when you get time like on a break.

Brushing as you rightly mentioned is to remove the plaque build up and rinsing with motuhwash is not as effective. It need not take more than a minute and then follow it with a mouth wash.

I would not recommend just using mouthwash but if you are unable to brush because it is not available for some reason then rinsing with mouthwash would be better than nothing. Nothing will replace brushing and flossing.

There's a natural stick you can get at the health food store which is what people used to use when there were no tooth brush and it cleans your teeth just from having it in your mouth, rubbing your teeth and gums... all over and it's just like having a candy in your mouth, sort of... but looks like a tiny cigar and is just used for this purpose, whenever you don't have time to brush or whenever it is that you are without a toothbrush and toothpaste... You get about six or eight to a bag... and they work better than mouth wash as they literally clean both your teeth and gums... and leave a good breath to boot...Ask at your local health food store... You might like them... One stick is about 8 inches long. It tastes like vanilla! but I don't re-call what they were called... I only bought my first bag last month and don't have anymore... You might want to check it out for yourself...

HI,
THE ONLY EFFECTIVE THING TO REMOVE PLAQUE FROM TOUR TEETH IS BRUSHING. IT'S THE MECHANICAL ACTION WHICH DOES IT.
FYI NO MOUTHWASH CAN DO THIS.
USING A MOUTHWASH IS BETTER THAN NOT BRUSHING AT ALL, BUT IT CANNOT REPLACE IT.
