The counterfeit toothpaste is being sold in discount stores like dollar tree. The packaging has several misspelled words on it. They believe it's coming in from China. Proctor and Gamble has not issued a recall because it's not their product. I wouldn't buy any Colgate from the discount stores.

if you're unsure look at the package. it says it's from South Africa and has misspellings. Two of the misspellings are "isclinically" (one word) and Assoxiation. Throw these away if you find them on the packaging. (Don't know if these are on the BOX or the tube, probably the box.)

If you're afraid, throw it away anyhow. What's 2 bucks??

Look at the box or tube if it reads "made in SouthAfrica" then it is counterfeit.
