I consider Kirk Cameron to be a truly religious person who really believes in God. He is brave because with his status, he's bound to get a lot of flak & he does but he doesn't let this bother him. This young brave man stands up for what he belives in & I think that is comendable. He's not a freak but a man you would want as a friend because his religious teachings he will always do the right thing & will always help others. He will pary & help others even though they disagree with his belifes because that's what people who belive do. He is a true Beliver & should be a role model for many because of all the things going on in this world we need more people like Kirk to say yes we do Belive in God & Be Proud of It. I do belive in God & Pray everyday for all the people of the world. I belive in my Religion & Worship God every day because He's Real & Alive. I know some of you will call me a freak but I don't care what you think. I know that I'm right because I'm Happy & Thank God for every thing & every day He's has given me. I'm a Beliver. I pray for all you even the one who call us freaks. May God Bless Every Person that stands up for his Religion & Belives in God.

Hi,
I am a Christian and I am not real pleased with Kirk Cameron these days, for the following reasons:

1. the "Left Behind" books - These books insist that you do not want to be one of those "left behind" when the rapture occurs.
Well, I am a student/teacher of the manuscripts and the Scriptures do not state that any part of the population will be going anywhere. There is no rapture, except in the minds of man who is unlearned in the Word of God. In fact, where you read in Scripture where two are grinding at the mill, and two are working in the field, one is taken, the other left -- if you back up to capture the subject and object of what is being discussed, you will find that the subject is that the Antichrist comes FIRST before any gathering back to Christ happens.
YOU WANT TO BE THE ONE LEFT BEHIND; THE ONES TAKEN ARE TAKEN BY ANTICHRIST.
(nothing like leading hundreds of thousands of people to be devil worshippers, huh?)

2.His claim that the Bible states this Earth is only about 6000 years old:
The Bible does NOT state the Earth is about 6000 years old; in fact, it does state that this Earth is eons and eons in Age, and that there was even an entire earth age before this one we live in now. There is no controversy between the truth in Gods Word, and true Science. Absolutely none.

Its folks like this guy who make it very hard for the learned, studied disiplined student of Gods Word to even wish to call themselves by the term "Christian". The term, because of people like Kirk Cameron, now means that you:
a. think the Bible says the world is 6000 yrs.
old.
b. think that the Sciences and Carbon dating
isn't accurate
c. think that Satan just threw fossils around
to "trick" people into thinking the world is
very old.
d. think that T-rex was created to punish
Adam and Eve for their sin.
e. think that if you don't follow the Church
rules and traditions, you will burn in the
eternal and never-ending fires of hell.

All of these are wrong; all of these are un-
biblical; all of these are nonsense by Gods Word.
The man found God one day, and thats great, but he took mans word instead of disiplining himself in GODS WORD, and went off running with it....
Forgive me, but I cannot respect someone in doing that.

Remember this:
The downfall of man will be his lack of
knowledge. DO NOT follow what any man says without checking it out in the Word of God. I don't care if he is called the Worlds
best and most accurate Christian role model that ever came on the scene.
Listen to God: you can't go wrong.

I think Kirk Cameron is a freak in general... his religion has little to do with it.

Compared to how many child actors wind up, I'd say he's survived fairly normally. Needs help in debates, but not too shabby otherwise.

No. I consider him just as any other man who follows and stands up for what he believes in.

There isn't anything that is wrong with that.

No, he's just an out-of-work actor who is trying to use his former fame to endorse his current beliefs. I would feel sorry for him, but then I am reminded of his belief in Creationism. That just makes me laugh.

No, I consider him a pitifully misinformed nut-case without regard to his religious views.

If you think believing in God is freakish, then I guess he is. Most people believe in nothing, and they are superior.

I am on the Freak Side.
