My son is 1 year old and is currently an even 23 pounds and 30 inches. He needs a new outgrowing car seat.
The question is what to get next. We obviously want the safest option (NTHSA Requirement) and not too expensive.
Is there anything we need to be concerned about?
What models should we be looking at? Any suggestion?

get a rear/forward convertable seat, all the available models will meet safty standards. Don't go too cheap, you will be using this for years and a cheap seat may wear out faster. Go for a graco or evenflo, avoid cosco, they have recalls all teh time!!

Britax has several nice options a little costly but worth it. I use to work at the factory assembling them...My choice is the Marathon, but u can look at the different models at www.britax.com
