well i havnt been on here long enough to know who she is... aparently she doesnt come on anymore for "personal issues" ive heard right? and all the questions i think are over doing it. i understand that shes a great persron, but come on now. instead of tell other people how great she is, tell her, send her an emial, or letter, or something than jsut saying Debra M is cool. you know what im saying? im honestly not trying to offend anyone.

Not cheapening her at all. I think Debra would tell you that even those who may "fake it" are still posting something positive and kind, which works for good regardless.

I read one of these sympathy threads that said some
were willing to put a partial address on the posting
to her. so that is a guideline violation right..?
I havent been on here long enough to know her but

If you think they are, then why are you asking a question about her? :oP
No, I don't. Some of the responses might, but not the questions themselves. The questions seem to be coming from people who do know her and do care.

Shagger, Debra had surgery yesterday and was in a coma. Thank God, she's awake and in ICU today. That's what sparked the outpouring of messages for her. . .everyone wanted her to know how much we care about her.

it's about community and joining together to show our concern and caring for her. q & a is just how we communicate here.
a couple of decades ago, when i was still catholic, a dear friend of mine had cancer. i kept his name in the prayers every week for nearly two years. when he died, that community -- most of whom had never met him -- understood the kind of person he was. and that community held me as i grieved.
acting together is the most important thing we can do. even when it's not our burden to carry.

There's a blessing, in blessing someone else. Nothing wrong with praying for a person in their time of need.
God Bless You

I think we want her to know that we care about her, nothing more. A lot of people really do care about her...
