You don't have to call your tattooist. You are having an
allergic reaction from what you are putting on it.............just
clean it good, hand not wash cloth, blot dry, and use another
product.
It won't hurt your tat, and you don't have to worry. This is a
very common occurrence.
Don't rub or scratch the tat. If it itches, slap it lightly a couple times, or put rubbing alcohol on a paper towel and hold it on
the tat for a couple minutes, don't rub, just hold it there.
The alcohol will dry your tat, so don't forget to put more moisturizer on.

SHOULD A RASH OCCUR:
IF YOU ARE HAVING AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE OINTMENT, SMALL RED BUMPS WILL DEVELOP AROUND THE EDGES OF THE TATTOO. WE SUGGEST YOU CONSULT WITH YOUR ARTIST & CHANGE YOUR AFTERCARE PRODUCT.

Is it new? Make sure it is clean, dab a little rubbing alcohol on it. Then use neosporin and cover it loosely. Repeat - morning and night. If it does not heal contact the artist for advice.

The best answer would be to contact your artist. He or she would be able to tell you if it's a stage of the healing process or if you had an allergic reaction to the ink or if it's a potential infection.

I would say it's healing. But if you are unsure go back to where you got it done and ask them.
