6 toes is not necessarily the result of inbreeding. It is a genetic trait and so, of course, if both parents were related and had the gene, the babies would be more likely to get the extra toes, but often one parent can successfully pass the gene down. It's just a matter of chance.

that's so cool that the kittens have extra toes,it's getting quite common now.I would call the kitten either jack or baur after the series 24,i was going to suggest kiefer as well but someone's already beat me to it.

I grew up with a polydactyl... even now I LOVE the cats with extra toes.

just a cool name from the movie bell, book, and candle. jimmy stewart and kim novack (she was a witch who cast a spell on jimmy to fall in love with her. it was a funny cool movie). he was a siamese and was her familiar and helped her cast spells. i had a black cat named that when i was a kid.
