None. It's one of the worst substances you can eat. Special K isn't healthy at all.
The only way to avoid it is to stop eating most packaged foods- including most salad dressings.

I've come to the conclusion that food companies don't actually expect people to not only be smart enough to read lables, but to know what the ingredients are. Not only that, but Specail K has rice in it. Eh. Brown rice? White rice? I'm guessing white.

I once e-mailed Kellogg's and complained about their Smart Start cereal. Basically I questioned what was "smart" about a product that contained several listings of corn syrup, HFCS and partially hydrogenated oils. I told them that I concluded that I was much better off with my oatmeal and raisins. (I had picked up a box to maybe eat dry, later as a snack, at a retreat I was on. I put the box back. I don't think I ever heard from them.

I don't mind some sugar in the cearal, but not HFCS. If the box says sugar, and has less than five grams, then I'll go for it. However, I'm starting to think that it will be cheaper and healthier if I just make some Hodgston Mills pancakes on the weekend and toast them in the mornings. (Hodgston Mills is whole grain and cheaper than Bisquick and about the same price as the store brands and I think even cheaper than Jiffy. In lieu of oil and eggs, my husbnad uses canned pumpkin and apple sauce and a bit of soy milk.)

I also agree with Kashi and it can be as cheap or cheaper than the other stuff. Also, Cheerios is good, too.

Ironically, as I was typing this I just saw a story that Kellogg's might be ceasing advertising to children under 12, thereby even getting rid of some of it's characters, if the cereal doesn't meet specific guidelines. The story did not say what the guidelines are. (I saw this on ABC 7, Detroit, MI.) Interesting.

Neither. consume cheerios multigrain, extremely any sugar (6 grams) and has an excellent style of supplements. as an occasion, I consume Multi-grain cheerios using fact it somewhat is healthful.a million serving in straightforward terms has: 24 g of carbs. (The energy don't be counted, the carbs do.) a hundred% diet E, B6, B12 Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, and Zinc. The energy don't be counted, the carbs. do. This cereal is nice even regardless of the undeniable fact that it has some brown sugar syrup yet it somewhat is extra valuable than corn syrup. intense fructose corn syrup is organic unnatural sugar. it somewhat is all chemical compounds that's undesirable for you. in case you prefer healthful sugar, consume an apple, orange, banana, or some variety of actual fruit. have exciting!

Processed foods = junk. Special K = junk.
They use simple carbs as there source like sugar.

ITS JUNK.

The best breakfast is pure, non refined, whole oats.
Second to that is shredded wheet, and wheetabix.

yeah now a days it's hard to find stuff without it but i know that kashi doesn't have it and organic cereal's also don't have it, you just have to look hard and as long as its a nutritional food having it won't be too bad
