If you could go back in time to the 12th century and tell someone about the space shuttle they would resopond the same way you are.
What it really comes down to is, Do you beleive in the SUPERNATURAL? The reason I ask this is because the Bible does parallel history to a certain point. It's just when these "extraordinary" occurances are mentioned that people start to get nervous in the service. For instance if you open the Bible to Genesis and read how Noah's three sons began to jumpstart the human race again you see a pattern of certain races coming from certain sons etc. You will also see a pattern of settlements that some archeologist are only now beginning to discover.
Solomon's great chariot fleet was thought to be a myth until remains of his chariot stables were unearthed.
When Adam and Eve were created they were almost like angels. The difference being angels live forever and their habitat is heaven. Adam and Eve were designed to live forever with Earth being their habitat. But God interacted with the angels and Adam and Eve on a daily basis. So if Adam saw an angel it would be common place but if we see one now it would be "unusual" because after the fall God did not interact with mankind in a "common" way any longer making His or an angels appearance "unusual". That's why Eve was not afraid of the serpent and was not amazed when it spoke. Animals and probably other things not mentioned where in perfect harmony with Adam and Eve before the fall. I hope this helps
God Bless

I won't call it "fake".......it's more like "simplified"....like the story of genesis. Take this as an example: when i was studying biology at ordinary level, i learned just one popular equation for the process of respiration. i thought it was that simple. however, as i moved on to study biology at advanced level, i came to learn that the process of respiration was in fact a lot more complicated, and that there were in fact about twenty other sub-reactions and many, many more equations, divided into three stages. what i had actually been taught at ordinary levels was a simplified overall version of the process, which i could easily understand at the time. similarly, the story of Genesis gives a rather simplified account of creation. if you understand that genesis, actually, is not meant to be taken literally, then you will understand that the process of the world's creation is not as simple as it is mentioned, and that "7 days" really weren't 7 days at all. this, and many other biblical stories are all a simplified account of a much more complexed and dynamic event, such that we could easily understand it, and recognize the true basic message behind it. it's simplification, however, may often make it sound a bit absurd or fake. that being said, if the creation process was written in the bible exactly as it had occurred, in all it's vast detail and complexity, i bet it would be far too complexed for the simple human mind to understand.

A Hong Kong team recently went to search for Noah's ark and claims to have found it on mt. Ararat. They made a movie on it and they took quite some videos and pictures i guess. A person living around the area claims to have seen it and even gone into it i guess. he took grains out for the Ark! cos they're preserved in the cold conditions. The movie is called the days of Noah and the original movie is in cantonese

There's nothing fake about the bible. Just grossly misunderstood and even intentionally misinterpreted. "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them". Some things are metaphoric and spiritual. All the so called brains in the world can't interpret much of these. As for Noe's Ark and our earliest ancestors; yes they are real. Do some research. Everybody dance now!

The debates on Yahoo! Answers about the Bible are like the following imaginary debate about Aesop's Fables (with credit to John Dominic Crossan). One side says "See, we have these stories that show animals could talk in ancient Greece!" The other side says "No, it shows the ancient Greeks were dumb enough to believe animals could talk." Both sides are missing a more obvious possibility, namely that these are not those kind of factual stories but something else entirely.

that is why you have to develop spiritually so you have the "holy spirit' as your guide in absorbing various religous material.
The accuracy of the bible words is not as importent as the message they carry. There is a very deep sub-text to the bible, but you will need the grace of higher spiritual help to develop it.
Don't be afraid to ask questions and challange ideas as this is Greatly pleasing to God because you expect God to be kind and tolerant. Do NOT expect God to be judgemental and damning because of your minds natural behavior of questioning and learning.

come on!!! How can you say they are fake? YOU couldn't possibly know that. Where do you think everything began and man first appeared. Who made them? NOTHING in the Bible is fake it is true fact. You need some learning and studying to critize such a thing as our God. You will stand before him someday and then try to ask Him that question!!
You will answer. That is between you and him, your soul.

If you do not want to believe the Bible that is your choice. I believe the Bible, all of it. I believe the wild stories of 3 men walking around in a firey furnace and coming out unharmed. I believe in the talking donkey story. Most of all I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and arose from the grave alive. Nobody is going to change my view.
