I'm visiting a friend in Guam while my immigration lawyer is processing the US visa. Should i go there or should I stay in my country during that period?

if you can enter guam legally, it's fine. just make sure you get back to your home country before the visa to stay in guam expires (visa you entered guam with, not the o1). if however, you get approved for the o1 before the other visa expires, you're in luck. you get to stay there and not have to go back home.
