Invest in a crate for your puppy. Crating is both humane and effective. Dogs, like their wolf ancestors, are den animals--most take well to the security of a place to call their own. Those that don't take a liking to their crate can be trained to like their space better. And it's a very rare dog who will go to the bathroom in his crate (unless he's been crated for a very long time) because most dogs are very unwilling to potty where they sleep. Just keep in mind that puppies have smaller bodies and can't hold it as long as mature dogs. Don't expect to leave your pup crated for 8-10 hours and come home to find no messes.

The purpose of crate training a puppy is simple--it keeps the puppy from getting into trouble when you can't be watching him. Every time your puppy uses your house as a toilet he's reinforcing the idea in his little brain that it's perfectly okay to poop or pee in the house. Since you're not catching him in the act, there's no one correcting that notion of his that your house (and specifically under your bed) is his bathroom.

So...crate your puppy whenever you can't be watching him like a hawk. He may complain about the crate, but be persistent. Don't give him attention if he's barking or howling to get out. DO let him out when a) you have time to watch him, and b) he's being quiet. Don't make a big deal about his going into the crate OR his getting out of it. He should think that crating is just a routine, ho-hum sort of thing.

When your puppy is not in his crate and you're keeping a very close eye on him, watch for signs that he's wanting to go to the bathroom. If he's sniffing around, circling, or especially squatting...hurry him outside. Wait with him until he goes to the bathroom. (You might even use a command just as he's about to pee or poop; something like, "Go potty!" or "Hurry up!" I've trained my dog that "Go potty!" means it's time to get down to business.) PRAISE your puppy calmly and quietly as he's going to the bathroom (you don't want to distract him from the business at hand, just give him a little encouragement), then praise him lavishly when he's finished. What a good dog!

If your puppy does have an accident in the house, don't discipline him unless you've caught him in the act, and then just give him a firm, growly, "No!" or "Ah-ah!" and take him to where you want him to potty. Punishing him for a mess you've found after the fact only confuses him. Oh, sure, he'll look guilty because you're scolding...but he has no clue what he's guilty of.

The trick is to NEVER let your dog use your house as his toilet again. The way to prevent that is to crate your puppy whenever you can't have your eyeballs on him at all times.

Well you can try a spray as mentioned, but, he going to poop somewhere. What you may try is get the poop with a paper towel and keep some on the pads. Normally a dog smells for a good place to go. So, if you keep a little poop on the pads he will smell it and that where he will start taking care of business. But, you need to clean under the bed to remove that smell. If, people will notice, most dogs (Not all) that are in a back yard will usually have an area of preference, this because it smell like a good spot.
One last thing; If, you notice he looking for a place, pick him up and take him to the pad. He may lose the urge and look at you funny, but, in time he figure out what you want him to do.
Ok, one last, last thing. What I do is always watch my puppy. When it start looking (And it not hard to know) I just pick it up and sit it outside the back door. I time it learn to go to the door when ready. Also, as the dog get older, I can leave it in the house and it will wait and go when I come home, have had very few accidents and those are always in the bathroom. They do learn to control this in time. My brother has a dog door, so, his dog can go outside when it need too.

Okay here is what you do, at the pet stores they sell things you can spray on the carpets that burns their eyes and makes them stay away. Dogs have a very sensitive nose so when they go near it they turn away. You can't smell it though. As he get's older he will learn how to go on the pad if you are just as consistant. What I did is ( even as a baby ) We st up a bell. When we took the dog outside we would make her ring the bell. When they got older they earned that if they rang the bell we would let them go in the yard. He is still learning but he may be trying to hide the poop from you or he could be doing the whole male territory thing. I really hope I helped! P.S. How to make a bell: buy a banana holder from any grocery store. Then buy some wire and tie the on bell.

Remember that if anyone has ever punished your dog for pottying in the wrong place, that he will want to sneak off and potty when noone's around, as he has been taught that it's dangerous to potty when humans are around.
Your puppy is also showing you that he is not ready for total unsupervised freedom around the house. Crate him or put him in an X-pen when you cannot pay 100% attention to him. This may seem inconvenient to you, but stopping bad potty habits now will prevent disasters in the future.
Many dogs are surrendered at shelters because owners never learned how to potty train them. Don't let this happen. Take the time to learn about teaching your dog - kindly, humanely, and clearly - the right habits.

First, I'd like to say, ew!
You could try a couple of things. First, you could try blocking the space under your bed, and then you puppy couldn't get under there to poo.
You could also try to get "mad" at him when he does poo under your bed (remember to do this soon after he goes, or else he won't know why he is being punished).
Lastly, you could just attempt to train him more and praise/feed him if he poos on the Wee Wee Pads (if he is food-motivated, this definitely works!!!)

You need to block off the space under the bed so that he cannot use it as his bathroom. I suggest keeping him confined to one area of the house until he's gotten his potty training down a little better. Remember to take him out (or to his pad) after he wakes up, after he eats and after playing. You can use an enzyme based cleanser like natures miracle to clean the areas that he's poo'd in to remove any odors.

Well at Wal-mart in the pet section you can find a spray called "OUT" well you spray it under your bed and it keeps him from going there and start going on the potty pads.

That's why dogs should be outside. He won't poo under your bed if he's not in the house.

when you are training a puppy, you should never let them out of your sight. the first second you take your eyes of them, they pee/poop. you have to watch them, otherwise they sneek off and do their business. puppies are like babys, you can't turn your back on them unless they are sleeping in the crate, lol.

most of the time they do that because when they do it on the floor..most people spank them and they run under the bed. i read on the Internet and were they go is were they will go! so you need to put them outside or on a pee-pee pad after you spank them.
