For example, God knew he could not marry Mary and raise Jesus. So he gave up his only son to be raised by another man.

I always thought that men who give up their children do not deserve the title of Father. However I could be wrong.

thoughts?

Jesus was God's gift to the world as His sacrificial lamb to pay the ultimate price for our sins. Mary was just the vessel for God's blessing to be fulfilled.. Besides, Jesus did not really need a Father, only someone to protect and provide. Remember...Jesus was not your ordinary child. Check out when he was 12 yr old and teaching the priests at the temple and chastizing Mary and Joseph for not knowing that he would be about "His Father's" business.
Back to your question:
But it also said in the scriptures that anyone who harms on of the least of these, should put a mill stone around their necks and throw themselves into a well. I also says that, those that you forgive who have done ill to you...have the hot coals from the Holy Spirit heaped on their heads. They may not deserve it, but you give it...however, you need to keep your guard so you are not vunerable to be used and abused again. (this is from personal experience that it took me forty years to get to) I trust this advise will move you along the path a little faster than I did.

Single Parent households are widows and orphans that God's church family is charged to help. If you do not received emotional support and maybe even some financial help when and if you really need it.... Keep looking, because they are not Biblical. (ps...that doesn't mean that there is carte blanche on the freebies. Abusing peoples kindness can hurt you and others too!)

There is no connection to being a single father today vs. what happened in the home of Joseph and Mary, 2,000 years ago.

Jesus' Father never abandoned His only Begotten Son except for the time when His Son became sin as He died on the cross.

Remember that Jesus existed as God long before He was born to Mary.

Remember it was Jesus Who is our Creator.

God sent his son as a sacrifice for our sins, because Jesus was without sin. Jesus therefore came willingly to do his Father's work. Jesus now sits at the right hand of God. He will sit on the throne of David and reign as the King of kings forever, when God's kingdom is established on Earth. Does that sound like a father who has abandoned his son?

Firstly where do you get the idea that men who give up their children do not deserve the title father? This sounds like something you got purely on your own. Good like trying to get god to fit in with that!
Father is biological, not a title. Even spiritually Jesus refers to God as his Father, much like we are supposed to.

The fact that God chose Mary to birth Jesus does not make Him an unfit father. You have taken that way out of context.

no parent who walks out on their children (whether a mother or father) deserves their title.

To even imply that God is incapable of anything is pure blasphemy.

Man is absolutely incapable of discerning God's plan.

Stop trying. It makes you look foolish.
