The majority of Christians (that includes me) today are living their lives like the Pharisees of Jesus' day?

We need to get real with our faith before we go spreading it! I'm sick of seeing Christians that throw hell threats around and act as if the world were beneath them!

If we are no different than the world in our lives than how are they going to see a difference in Jesus? We are the good news. We are the gospel.

Very good point. Will your fellow christians listen and take responsibility for their bad behavior? I doubt it. You can't change anyone but yourself. But good for you for acknowledging this.

Exactly. The Pharisees of Jesus day had an expression to describe the common people: Amha-arets. This meant "people of the earth", but not in same way as we'd think of. They viewed commoners as dirt beneath their feet because they weren't trained in the law.

Christians should view any non believers as potential sheep and try through positive example and preaching to teach these ones about God. Only He and Jesus have the right to judge whether people are sheep or goats. (Matthew 25:31-33)
