I beg to differ. There is a God and the signs are everywhere around you.
God created the heavens and the Earth. If the earth had a slightly different environment, we wouldn't be here. If the sun were red instead of yellow, we wouldn't be here.
God put us on a world that was 87% water, just like we are 87% water. If there were no water, we wouldn't be here.
God created the whole universe. Even now, scientists can not explain what started the "big Bang" or how "Black holes" work.
God created man and breathed divine breath into him. Let's see how you explain that of all the creatures on Earth, we are the only one's who reason, think, and discuss.
God created us with Free Will. How else do you explain the fact that you can spout such hatred at all?

Faith DOES make us know that we have purpose through Jesus Christ in this short life. Believing in something brings more hope than believing in nothing. There has to be something better than this world. This life if full of strife and sadness and death. Something more incredible is waiting on the "other side"

I think the best thing to do is to choose your own beliefs. I'm open to anything, I have an idea of what I think is true...I'm not a religion freak, but I'm also influenced in a good way by what I believe is out there.
It doesn't run my life but it guides it.
I think you should open your mind up, just a little...and not criticize people for what they believe.

and if you have no faith, grasshopper, then how will you continue each day? faith is what makes us get up in the morning, put our feet on the floor and face whatever the day might bring..no matter what our personal beliefs are :)
