Is it your personal belief that the wafer actually becomes a bit of Jesus' flesh, or that it somehow becomes magically endowed with Jesus' "essence"?

I am a bad Catholic, I do not really go for this idea. I have heard it both ways: 1) during the Mass (specifically the Eucharistic Prayer) the bread and wine become the actual body and blood of Christ or 2) Christ enters into the bread and wine.

Either way, when we take communion we become one with Christ.

Even those with the alergies could have an exceedingly small piece with little to NO effect medically. those with gluten allergic reactions might desire to consume a quite important little bit of gluten. A tiny wedge won't dissatisfied them slightly. this is in contrast to being allergic to a bee sting the place some human beings swell up and can die if a tiny bee touches them with a tiny stinger. No actual subject right here. the guy can tell the Priest in boost they choose an exceedingly small piece of the host in the event that they so needed after explaining the subject. The graces and love from God gained does not be much less as a results of fact the host ate up may be tinier.

While I'm not a Catholic, I know that many Catholics do believe this. But this isn't what Jesus said when he instituted the memorial of his death. He said "this means my flesh" and "this means my blood". (Matthew 26:26-28)

He never said anything about transsubstantiation, which would really amount to cannibalism.

come by sunday, for a morning of cannibalism at the altar.

come eat flesh with us, drink blood, do it in front of children, and get the kids to participate, too.

then, join with us when we say we aren't a CULT. and let's all sit around and wonder why, after all this cannibalism nonsense each week, why so many of our kids are all screwed-up!!
