Interested in your advice...good/bad juss tell me...please!!!?

Question

im a young man 21 yrs old... i am currently going to adult eduaction classes to earn my diploma... now after i get my diploma... i would like to take classes probably in X-ray technician... were can i start and does this field offer GOOD PAY?... please someone help me out!

It offers very good pay. Look on-line for schools near you that provide that course. It takes about 2 years to get a degree in it. It is a very good career to get into.

As far as the adult classes goes, down the line you will realize that, that will be one of the best things you've ever accomplished. You can either enter college, go to a tech school or private school to get your training/ degree/ certificate. After wards, search the hospitals employment opportunities. I've noticed that they're (x-ray techs) always in need. If you have time and patience, try volunteering for a short duration (just to observe) at a hospital or clinic/ medical center. This will gain you hands on/ personal experience for your resume. As for pay? The pay is great based on what I've noticed. Good luck!

If you're in good shape, and don't mind the effort I would suggest looking into the military to become an X-ray tech...Air Force would be the least commitment, but I know when I was in the Army there were guys with me who went in to become Xtechs and lets just say they are all making more money than me now. Between the courses you're taking in school and the stuff the military can give you by the time you get out of basic (could be by the end of the summer) you'll be in a good position to get a job in the field.
The military isn't as bad as people make it out to be and you can get the benefits if you're eligible...just check into it and weigh your options.

after you finish your adult education you should check out a local community college. most likely they will offer a class or series of classes so that you can become an x-ray tech. anything in the medical field usually pays well...you wont be out of your mind rich, but you probably wont have to struggle with money unless you are already in debt. good luck!

For answers on the pay you can look at monster.com and see what the going salary is for that type of job. And if you are going to go to a college for your x-ray classes then find out if they have a graduation placement program or if they allow recruiters to come to campus.

just a tip if you get a job at a hospital now they may help you pay for your schooling and youll get a good idea of what all those jobs entail and pay. there are lots of entry level positions and I'm sure quit a few part time for students
