Sodas are something everyone should cut out completely.
And no you shouldn't cut out all kinds of cookies and pastries unless you have a real problem with the quantity at which you eat them. I mean a cookie might only have 75 calories in it, which isn't a huge deal, but if you have a real problem just eating 1 or 2, then yes you might want to avoid them altogether.

Most dairy and deep fried foods are the first things that should go!
Cookies and pastries are simple carbohydrates. Your body absorbs them too quickly and gives you a spike of energy instead of a slower more evenly distributed energy. You can eat those cookies and pastries in moderation. I would limit myself to a certain amount a week like maybe once a week indulge. If you deprive yourself you will end up binging or just plain cheating.
Good LUCK!

No!!! Its criminal to do that!!!
If you think you're eating too much, then cut down or save them for a special treat but never ever ever completely cut out cookies and pastries.

everything is ok in moderation! What you need to do it learn the calorie, carb and fats of things you like to eat, and work small rewards into a healthy diet. This is why most diets fail! People restrict themselves from foods they love and force themselves to eat unfamiliar foods, which they quicky tire of and give up on, then they binge on the goodies because they have been craving them so long. One cookie a day or a donut on saturday morning will not spoil a diet, as long as you compensate by eliminating fat somewhere else in you daily meals. Good luck

there are types of cookies out there that you can eat..
Sweets that are cooked with wheat flour and use sugar substitutes can be very good for you and taste yummy as well.
Go to your nearest health food store and check out what they have availiable..
In general, you should never cut out a food while on a diet because it will make you more prone to fail. The diet should be a way to make healther choices using alternatives that will make you a healthier eater.

Cookies are actually not as bad as cakes, ice cream, and chocolate. It is not only the sugar, but a combination of the sugar and saturated fat. Keep in mind that moderation is the key. Can you eat only 2 cookies a week? If having them in your house is too much of a temptation, don't keep them in your house.

It's all about moderation and portion size. If you're eating the right portions of things, you won't need to cut anything out.

Yes these are unneeded things in your diet. Besides the fact that they're complexed carbohydrates and you could eat fruit to satisfy your sweet tooth instead.

yes, at least until you get to a spot you want to be. Then you can just eat that stuff in moderation in order to maintain. Just excersise it off too! But as you are getting to where you want to be... yes, i would restrict it from your diet.

Yes, it is the sugar and while flour that is bad for you. Also read labels and look for no added sugar.
