I will not tell you whether I'm religious or not as it makes no difference.

But, this is what I'm curious about... the people that say they're Christian and sin without end... they forget completely about God, according to the Bible every action, every breath is for God. You place NO one before God.

This is just one of the ten commandments.

Another one is no sex before marriage and NO THOUGHTS OF LUST (ahem) - those are considered adultery.

The majority of Christians just say they believe... but they don't even practice what they preach.

God won't forgive you if you sin day and night without end. I guess all these wannabe Christians aren't going to Heaven as they think they are. They're destined for Hell.

Wouldn't that be correct?

PS - I am aware that most Christians in the R&S section are True Christians... the ones you don't meet every day. But what are your thoughts on the other SUPPOSED Christians?

Because I believe that these "Supposed Christians" represent an ENORMOUS percentage of America's population.

Some people seem to have skimmed through the entire message and some even feel as though I'm targetting them. Why is that?

Although no-one is perfect because of our fallen human nature, the fact is most Christians make a sincere effort to turn away from ungodly behavior, and just as important, have access to the grace of God to help them do so. No, God won't forgive you if you sin day and night without end, for that would show a lack of repentence. But He will forgive you "seventy times seven times" as long as you continue to sincerely repent and come back to Him, and if you do that, you will certainly find that you sin less and less over time.

Scuba Dude
--it is confusing to most because of the devil blinding/putting obstacles/lies to us/tempts us ( We've got to FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH)

Listen, the old testament is the story of the rise /fall from grace of the Hebrews-Got that?

Jesus dies/leaves a last will/testament(A new Covenant) and some 'possessions' to us !

A) a small group of true witness' to the facts
B) a new chief apostle, Paul and
C) a new Helper in the believers hearts( the H/spirit)

YOU ARE IN THE WILL -
but YOU must claim it --No claim = no gain(of Eternal Life)

Bonsai Bob-
The will of the Father is that the sheep of His pasture believeon His son, Jesus the Annointed One+His Annointing-Many church -goers are NOT-They are anti Christ and false prophets
To Wolf blayde-
Lukewarm "C"are still Christians 10% or 44 % or 88% failing 'C' are STILL Christians. You must see that He is the propitiation for all past and FUTURE sins .

Overcoming C's will win crowns ! and have leadership positions in Heaven after Jesus returns to pluck us up from the earth. And did you know we get new bodies then?

Why?
Cause we have sin in our flesh /minds (even tho we are redeemed)and don't really deserve eternal life on our own merits, only on account of His death etc.
So until He comes back we get tested and challenged and we grow and become fruitful (hopefully) and become more + more like Him

to gnell-- Kaehya2003 and Hannah --

Right on sisters-Keep your chin up--Remember it all hangs on what He's done --on the cross He said it " it is finished !"

Be Blessed
oh one more thing --the Jews will be grafted back onto the tree of life--its all in the Bible my friends --

but please concentrate your reading on the letters of Paul to the Romans----- Peter ------Timothy etc
Thats where you'll find instructions for us (not from the Old Covenant)

Sincere Christians struggle with sin as much, if not more, than non-christians because God wants us to persevere and overcome adversity. How can we learn joy without sorrow?Love without hate? Overcoming the desire to sin is a lifelong process. Christians are not perfect, just forgiven.

All people, not just Christians, have their own battles to fight. Looking at what others do is useless. Our example is the pattern Son, Jesus. He proved that God's plan is perfect when He is finished with us.

To the caterpillar it's the end, to the butterfly, it's the beginning.
God loves you and there's not a darn thing you can do about it.

There are two types of Christians, those who say they are but do not have a relationship with God and those who have a relationship with God. The truth is, both types have one thing in common. They are flawed humans and will makes mistakes and bad choices. The ones who have a relationship will God do not become perfect over night and will still sin.
It seems to be a tendency in people to concentrate on the whole sin issue rather than seeing people where they are, as God does, and encouraging them to improve

i know why you feel that way. it seems like we are all put in the spotlight because we are supposed to be perfect, but the bible says that all sin and fall short of the glory of god. that includes christians. i know that many people talk the talk but dont walk the walk. im not excusing them, but we are still going to sin even though we are christians. i still lie, cheat, and disobey my parents. i think what matters is if i am truly sorry for what i have done and continue on trying to live so that others can see jesus through me. i really hate some of the things i have done, and people have brought them back on me and i feel horrible about them, but there is nothing i can do except keep on trying my best and hope that they can see that. i hope this answers your question.

They seen to have the ability to see everyone else's 'sins' but not their own.

They divorce and remarry, they judge, they have far too much pride just in being Christian (the 'supposed ones, not he 'real' ones of course). Yet they are the very first ones to point and call people hell-bound sinners. They take that "forgiven" thing way too much for granted.

If their religion proves to be right I think the vast majority are in for a huge shock on judgment day.

Sadly, this happens alot in this day and age.A person comes forward, gets saved, and then gets left in the dust.I dont know of too many churches that practice teaching new christians how to grow in Christ. And also there are a lot of people that "play church".And then there are those who dont crack a Bible and only believe what the pastor says. This is why Jesus said "not everyone who says Lord,Lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven"

I guess it's not my place to attempt to judge every Christians hearts. Understand, as a Christian, all of us sin... but, we should be accountable for our sins and at least attempt ot learn from them. We also should have a relationship with God that is "bearing fruit". I think you validate your beliefs by how you attempt to live your life. It's important for non-believers to understand that no Christian should ever consider themselves free from sin. We know we sin, we deal sin as much as anyone else. There are a lot of people who claim Christ but have no relationship with Him. I don't know who is going to Hell, I just know I don't want to. Christians like this, need our prayers and counseling as much as non-Christians do.

You're right -- unfortunately, there are many lukewarm or professing Christians, and Christ Himself was a lot less than pleased with them:

Revelation 3:15-16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

No one -- not even the greatest believer that the world has ever seen --can completely avoid sin or thoughts that don't center on God. But that's why we're given another day: to grow in His grace and learn to be holy, even as He is holy.

1 Peter 1:14-16 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

As to where "In name only" and lukewarm Christians end up, only God can say for sure. He is merciful and compassionate, so the best thing we can do is commend that kind of person to His care and hope for the best for them.

No citizen of the USA can go for one day without violating at least one law of the land. Just ask any cop. Likewise, no person can go without violating God's Laws in thought ,in not deed, each day.

Unlike humans who only see black & white, God grades on a curve. He judges our heart condition, our motives. He also sees our sincere asking for forgiveness for our sins.

While I agree the SUPPOSED CHRISTIANS are no better than pagans in many other respects, no one can keep any law perfectly as long as we are imperfect ourselves.
