i m frm genral caste. my state rank in rajasthan is 6400. i m in sure urgency wich way to go...
also confuse, whether i shud switch to mech. or sum other field instead of elec. in order to get a better college...?,,,...?...

if you have any doubt about engineering ask here but not on selection of colleges it doesnot depends upon where you study it also doesnot depend upon what u study it only depends on how u study and what are your thoughts about it.

just take a college with all required fecilities.

because there are people idiot out of great colleges and genius out of small college

for eg APJ abdul kalam he didnot study in states no1 school or college he studied in a govt school without proper fecilities and Govt college MIT chennai and every citizen including me in his state feel proud of our state produing a gem

well.....I cant say anything abt the colleges in north India.........but I wud say tat if u have a passion for EnC...then persist with tat....watever the college may be....but if u want to get EnC bcoz of its hi popularity...then better look for other branches like Mech,In Sc, Comp,etc wich r also equally interesting.......
