It sounds like you have stripped your hair- and to fix, you need to use professional products to make it healthier.

First, get it trimmed- to get rid of the dead ends. Next, go to a salon and get professional conditioner and shampoo for damaged hair. The stuff over the counter does not work- most of it is wax and that just adds a layer of heaviness to your hair.

Ask your stylist what they would recommend- I used Dumb Blond By Tigi after I had my hair straightened.

I know you don't want to spend the money- but you really need to in order to fix the problem.

As well, do not straighten at all and try not to blow dry if you don't need to.

Good luck!

VO5 hot oil and aussie 3 minute miracle are great! You should use plenty of conditioner when you wash and a deep conditioning treatment such as a hair mask should be used once or twice a week. Blowdry your hair on the cool setting and maybe give up straightning for a week or two and your hair should get gradually softer and in to better condition.

I've never tried it myself but maybe you should look up using mayo as a deep conditioning treatment... apply to hair (damp or dry?) wrap your hair in plastic and maybe heat the area using a hair dryer... once warmed up sit with it for like 20 to 30 minutes. Please look it up under something like homemade beauty secrets or treatments.
I think it'll be cost effective and no you won't stink and I'm sure the oil in the mayo would soften your hair.

This is exactly why it's necessary to go to a salon. The time and cost of doing it yourself would have been easier with nicer results if you had put it towards a salon visit.
I'm not putting you down.... we all do it at some point in our lives (I know I had done it). We just live and learn right?!

Good luck... it'll seem like a long time before your hair will feel nice again.

(I had to colour my fried hair a soft brown to feel healthy again and that worked for me...brown was nicer than straw hair!)

omg. Your hair, I'm afraid, is doomed to break and fall off. It's so dry and overprocessed. If you can afford to, go see a professional, but don't let them put anymore chemicals on your hair. Until all of this bleach grows out, be very verrryyy careful with your hair or it will break! Be careful even when towel drying after the shower. Don't scrub your hair with the towel.

I think your best bet would be to go to a salon and have a professional take a look. Stop using the straightener and hair dryer right away to prevent more damage. Your hair sounds way to over processed right now. Get to a salon and let them work their magic.

I like the Panteen Anti breakage, or breakage defense, shampoo and conditioner. I don't remember the name but it's one of those. It's really good.

You can't light a bunt match. Your hair will never be healthy again until you grow it out then cut it.

That works but you may need to get some can of serum to produce a shiny and glossy look in your hair.

Wow I'm surprised you hair didn't fall out. Since your hair is so damaged now, only thing to do it get it cut.
