It think its better to have a personal trainer who is older. It shows that you do actually now how to stay in shape and it's not just the fact that your 18 years old that you have a fit body. You'd probably get more custom as well. Go for it.

i know people who didnt start becoming personal trainers until their 30's or 40's, if you have enough experience in the fitness field it doesnt matter your age, i learned more just from experience in the gym than i did in my entire nasm course, and 27 is not old at all, 40 wouldnt even be to old to start in a fitness career

its never to late :0) heres some advice in case you did not want to though :0)to be honest the best way is not to go on a diet as ive tried them all and diet pills and they dont work lol but just change your diet and go swimming 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time it tones your tummy and all your body up wonderful too ! i lost 2 stone since may its great and i eat loads too im just eating the right foods but instead of swimming try aqua arobics its great and really fun ! great question star for you and goodluck !

of course not. i am 37 and so fond of bodybuilding , if i didn't get tired of studying philosophy at university for many years and getting master degree in this useless subject i would really really love to become a gym instructor instead. go for it, 27 is still young. don't give up your dream

you are never too old.
look at it this way, you will probably live until 90 so you have 63 more years to do what you want. If you want to become a personal trainer then go for it!!

Too old is only a mind set. You could be 90 and still be in good enough shape to teach others how to be healthy. It's never too late.

i dont understand why people think that anyone over 25 is old! you are in your TWENTIES! you have more than half your life left to live! of course its NOT too old!! you're only 27! even if you were 37- you would still be young!
