Maybe we should encourage people to walk across the border from Mexico. After a while there would be such a flood of immigrants that many wouldn't be able to find work anywhere. If, as they say, they do the jobs that Americans don't want to do, let's let them do them. Let's go down ourselves and bring them back. What it would do is to drive down THEIR wages and consumer costs. Eventually, because the pickin's in the U.S. weren't as good as they now are, they'd quit coming and many already here would go home.

Because you don't agree doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. Sure, they send money back to Mexico, but not if the jobs run out. Sure there would be more crime, but only until those who couldn't find work or who couldn't find work that payed enough, went home. Sure there would be an increase in services, but only as long as they were here. Eventually, this problem we have would reverse itself. You can't count on the government to agree on a workable plan. The best solution might be to let (or cause) the incentives that bring these people here to dry up.

we need to just enforce the laws we have now. we need to heavily fine the compaines who hire the illegals. if this would stop, then the money aspect would be gone and people wouldn't want to come here illegally

You are forgetting the free education, welfare, medical and other perks. California and other border states are being bankrupted by the current flood. Open the borders and all hell breaks loose.
Plus, the argument that illegals are doing the jobs that Americans won't do is bogus. About 25% of the Agriculture industry is made up of illegals. That means that 75% isn't.
Our best bet is to secure the border with a fence, more border patrol officers and more electronic servailence. When that's done and the illegal stream is slowed to a trickle, actually go after the businesses that hire them. Make it so detrimental to hire an illegal that the jobs for them will dry up.
Also make getting welfare, education and other social services more and more difficult. Without jobs and the social services, illegal immigration will slow dramaticaly.
Don't kid yourself. Most illegals are NOT here to become citizens. They're here to work and send money home to Mexico. Mexico's single biggest industry is the money wired from individuals in the US to family in Mexico. We CANNOT trust the Mexican government to help in this matter. They activly promote and even assist illegal border crossing.
The best way to stop the flood and make the current illegals go back is to make it impossible to have a life here. It may sound brutal, but it is necessary for the economic health and security of this country.

And the damage will be done. I don't think that is such a good plan. Unfortunately, that may be the only way some people will get it through their thick skulls that free flowing illegal immigration into this country will harm it in the long run.

Because that's not the main reason their coming , they come to make money to send home ,so their aren't coming here to stay , just to take advantage of our systems that were set up for American Citizens and paid for by American Taxpayers .
Has anyone thought about what will happen to the cheap labor when the illegals become citizens and want higher wages and more benefits , like the rest of Americans . Who will do the jobs , that Americans won't do ( sic )?

That's not logical. What we could do is exchange some of murderers, rapist and white collar criminals for some hard working onest immigrant that want to assimilate.
