It means that they are having dreams. If a person can feel a relative's presence simply by concentrating on them, then that is indicative that the person is experiencing autosuggestion or self-hypnosis.

People attribute favorable unexplained events to god because that is the way that they have been brought up. Likeise, they attribute unfavorable events to the devil for the same reason.

Ok, both of my parents are pastors, so I hear about people feeling God all of the time. Personally, I 've never had this experience. I don't even know if its real. I think it may be people wanting to believe they've been touched in someway and are now more holy than others. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but I kind of doubt this whole "feel the presence thing".

Perhaps it is similar to being able to feel a relative's presence by concentrating on them, but God is totally beyond comprehension. God is beyond what the mind can handle...there is an immensity and an intelligence. A great love and bliss, as well.

That was the first time, I felt it several times since. There is a great intelligence outside of our mind/ego.

The feeling of presence of god is a very personal affair . It may be different for each of us. It may be a hallucination due to preconcieved notions of the mind. When we become like hollow bamboos the music of the divine will play by itself. So one who has declared that he has felt the presence of god should be tested. dont believe blindly. In the presence of such a true master you will be transformed into a new being instantly. When you feel love flowing incessantly from you it is GOD himself!

yes and there is two types of feeling his presence. One is the peace and love that one feels, unexplainable. The other is his actual physical presence. The peace and love of course but a feeling of power a buzzing of life that is so strong. You can hardly remain on the ground and you know that he is everything for and to you.

I have felt Him. It was like a blanket of invisible warm liquid, or a vibration of life. It lasted for a while and it came with uncontrollable laughter. Also, I felt remorse for every wrong I had done in my life and unworthy to be thought of by our God. It didn't matter what I had done in my life He still loves me and actually revealed Himself to me. Glory be God in the Highest. Praise the Father Jehova, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

When I was much younger and a person of faith, I believed that I experienced the presence of God when I spoke to him. I felt that God turned his eye upon me, settled around me like a mist, and gave me his full and loving attention (even with all the turmoil in the world, which was certainly more pressing than my petty problems). I recognize now that it was just wish fulfillment, but it really did help me at the time.

I have felt God's presence in many instances. But by God I mean a life force. Something as majestic as standing on the edge of the ocean, to staring at the newborn kittens in my spare bedroom.

Yes...when I am in trouble or need help I feel like he is with me and helps me. I got in a bad car accident 3 years ago and my car flipped over and after being taken to the ER they were surprised I had no damage on my body. That is when God was with me and I will always thank him for that. I could of lost my life due to that accident.
