I have used every kind of rug made but nothing helps. What can I do to stop this? I'm finding litter in my bedsheets!

Hi, I have two cats and I had the exact same problem. I didn't switch litter. I know you said you used every type of mat for your cats but this is the one I got from PetSmart and it works great. I also tried a ton of different mats. I got a very over-sized one that the litter box can fit in the middle of or I put it up against the wall and make sure there is plenty of room on the sides. You have to take it outside and shake it out once a week but you won't have problems with the litter in your bed anymore.

I got the rectangle one. If you try it out as with any product with PetSmart, they will accept it as a return if you don't like it as well. So you really have nothing to lose if you try it. I know that also if you order something online you can return it in the store, just make sure that you have the receipt.

You could try litter with bigger granules...also I have found that my cats track the scoopable kind a lot less than regular litter. There's also the litter that's made from newspaper so it's big pellets, and Feline Pine which is also pellets. The bigger the granules, the less tracking, I have found.

you may have a type of litter that has a substantial amount of catnip in it! Cats love this so they will play with it!

But if you have long hair cats it could just get caught up in their fur and then fall out around the house....

Try giving them other toys with catnip and change your litter brand. If that doesnt work, maybe you will start going in a litter tray :)

I do too. there's not a whole lot that you can do. you might try getting a "grassy" type of rug, like the kind you wipe your feet on before entering your house.... I have carpet all over my house and I still get pieces of litter in my bed. it sticks to their feet and gets into the little folds of skin.

Change litter. You may have to use a larger granule litter so it does not get stuck between their toes.

i put the litter box inside one of those under-the-bed storage boxes. (no, the box isnt under the bed!!) that way, they can shake off their paws before they get back to the floor or carpet. it's kind of like a litter box inside a litter box.

try using different litter... you are probably using small litter.. kinda like sand... try use a litter that the peaces are bigger... that way the litter wont get stuck in his paws

Try going somewhere like PetsMart & explain your situation. They could probably recommend a solution and/or a different cat litter.

Good luck! =)
