Five important tips for women

1. It's important for a man to help out around the house, and have a good job.
2. It's important that a man makes you laugh.
3. It's important to find a man you can count on and would never lie to you.
4. It's important to have a man who loves you with unbridled passion, and spoils you.
5. It's very important that these four men don't know each other.

It's hard to say cuz I never really looked for anything specifically. In fact when I met my current fiance I wasn't looking for love and had decided I was never going to be in a relationship again. We actually started out as online buddies, but the more we talked, the more I looked forward to talking to him and he was the same. It's hard to explain, but we both really do believe we are each other's soulmates and true love and that God led us to each other. Each of us is a different religion and comes from a different culture, but we have so many of the same ideas and characteristics. I'm glad now that God didn't listen to me when I said I was never gonna fall in love again, cuz I would have missed out on this incredible love that I found.

The first thing is a relationship with the Lord. I won't lie, I like a good looking man....but the anointing of the Lord can make even a plain man look absolutely fantastic. And a tall man...I dated a man shorter than me once and that didn't work.

I already have one, and I wasn't really looking when I found him, but I suppose this would be my list:

Kindness, respect for his family, female friends (meaning, he must have female friends! guys who don't have any tend to be too male-oriented for me), similar interests, similar political views, moderation in all things (including religion, sorry!)

Fortunately, I found a husband with all of those qualities! We're compatible in every way, even religiously (our beliefs tend to be similar despite not both adhering to the same religion!)

Someone who loves God first and foremost. Who understands authority and has placed himself under a discipler or spiritual mentor. Someone who treats women as sisters, with respect, and care. Someone who is actively involved in serving God wherever he can. He needs to be teachable, willing to recieve confrontation and correction. Honesty and Integrity are huge on my list too.

I want the knight in shining armor, a man who will make me feel safe and protected. A man who will do what the Bible says, and love me above himself, laying down his own desires to serve mine. That is the kind of man that I will willingly submit to and serve. I want Clark Kent. And yes, I'm content being single. :)

Well, I've been married for 25 years, but when he "fell" into my life and then asked me to marry him, I considered several things....like same faith, similar values, similar interests but enough differences to keep life interesting, good heart, hard working /ability to provide, family oriented, educated, good sense of humor, responsible & loving, NO history of abuse of any kind, non-smoker, and of course, being good looking didn't hurt either! I do believe with all of my heart that God brought us together.

I'm not looking for a spouse.

I'd imagine though I'd want someone who's intelligent, witty, charming, and good looking.
