If God and the events of the Bible have been rationally demonstrated, why does God say he values faith?

Is it still faith if it's been proven?

The Bible has not been scientifically proven. I believe science supports the Bible, but it will never prove the Bible to be 100% accurate.

The Designer's design involves faith. After all, if God just came down to earth and showed Himself to everyone at the same time, He would prove to us that He is God. That takes no faith and takes no genuine love to worship Him. He'd be that overbearing dictator that some people falsely make Him out to be.

We still need faith. We have faith in science. Or did you perform all the tests yourself? We have limited faith in the weather forecasts even though we only know how to read a thermometer and a TV remote control.

Though much of the Bible is scientifically proven, other parts are prophecy for today. We need faith to believe and observe the warnings and promises for today and tomorrow.

It is totally amazing that people still claim there is any evidence at all that proves the Bible is true.
There is something deeply sinister about faith that tries to change the facts by repeating what amounts to nothing more than lies...it shows determination but of the worst kind.
The Bible has not been scientifically proven to be true, to say so is to try to subvert science.

"Rationally" and "scientifically " are often two different things.
(A lot of science today lacks objectivity.)
The Bible has been proven historically accurate, yet faith is required to believe God's Divine works among men. His works are not natural, but supernatural.
Faith is also require as we wait expectantly for future prophecies to be fulfilled.

much of the bible can be rationally and scientifically prooven...through archeological evidence and historical records.

sometimes the evidence does not manifest itself until we show some faith that it exists.....the evidence follows the faith....
example;
since abraham believed God, God provided a sheep to replace Isaac
since moses beleived god, the red sea split

we can believe god for (godly) things now, and we can receive what we ask for, if we do not believe, we receive nothing.

jesus said to have faith when we believe, and we will receive.

so what we receive is the evidence of the faith we had

heb 9 -faith is the substance of things hoped for , and the evidence of things not seen

this evidence is the proof you talk about

Capitalctu said: "History had proven the bible to be right in even the smallest details".

What, like the fact that the mustard seed ISN'T the smallest seed around as specified in the bible?

Do you people really think it impresses others spouting on about the inerrancy of the bible when we're educated enough to know better?

Your assumption is incorrect.

The bible has been scientifically proven to be wrong in many aspects.

Without faith, do you truely believe. You can accept that it's true, but you must have faith in everything it says.
