I am in the process of reestablishing my belief system. I do like the scripture that says"cast not thy pearls before swine" That one makes a lot of sense to me:)

I'm a humanist, so I treat my mate as a human. That seems to work well. Religions tend to objectify women.

The fact that if I kill him my kids will have no father. LOL I get along with him because I have to. We share three kids and a life. I am not sure my religion plays into it all.

well, religion didn't kept my wife from running away with the first millionaire she met.
and religion never helped her to keep the guy around for long.
now, she 's with another rich man. let's find out if religion will help her this time around.

I am a member of Eckankar that teaches that I should give other Souls their freedom. My wife and children were Christians, and we got along fine.

i'm pagan, he's atheist.
in my religion, we don't think we the only true path to the divine. we respect everyone's right to their own beliefs/lack of beliefs. so i don't feel a need to have my husband attend rituals or what not. because of that, he can easily accept my faith.
