Try to incorporate some stretching of the calf muscles b/c if your calf muscles are tight they will pull on your calcaneus (heel bone) and your plantar fascia also attaches to the calcaneus at the opposite end. Also try stretching out the plantar fascia by rolling from toe to heel several times a baseball or better yet a coke bottle under your foot while sitting and putting some pressure down.

It might not cure it, but could certainly help. One contributory cause is overweight. As a person gets older, the plantar fascia becomes less like a rubber band and more like a rope that doesn't stretch very well. The fat pad on the heel becomes thinner and can't absorb as much of the shock caused by walking. The extra shock damages the plantar fascia and may cause it to swell, tear or bruise. You may notice a bruise or swelling on your heel. Other risk factors for plantar fasciitis include: Overweight and obesity Diabetes Spending most of the day on your feet Becoming very active in a short period of time * Being flat-footed or having a high arch

Plantar fasciitis is a very difficult condition to get rid of. Number one you have to rest as much as possible. And I know that's difficult because of work. You need to see a Podiatrist, foot specialist, as soon as possible to get the proper treatment for this condition.

In the meantime you can Take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts. Soak for 30 minutes. The Epsom salts will help eliminate the lactic acid that forms on the muscles from over exertion.

Massage an analgesic cream into the sore muscles. I find the best cream for pain is “Blue Emu,” You can read more about this cream at http://www.blue-emu.com/

Dehydration can cause severe pain in the muscles. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.

I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day.

Advil soft gel capsules are very good for pain. Take them four times daily.

well you should see a foot specialist . you may need steroid shot in your foot or feet. next you may need custom insoles not just the ones that you buy at the drug store.
the doctor may also give you some stretches to do with your feet . one is to take the palm of your hand and put in on the bottom of your foot and pull or push your foot back toward you . . another is to stand against a wall and put one leg back the other one straight to the the wall then keep you feet flat but attempt to bend the knee forward of the leg you have back of the wall. do that several times a day.
overall the best thing is to see the foot doctor
