Are you really trying to compare trying on shoes to having sex with another person? I think there's quite a few differences and calling the act "trying on" doesn't change that.

If you feel the same love and affection for shoes that you do for the person that is your potential spouse, perhaps you need to wonder why you are so attached to such things...

I love it, I for one am a christian but have very strong beliefs that you should live with someone before you marry them. my father in law made his 21 year old daughter marry her bf 3 years ago bc they wanted to live together while they were off at college. I think thats so stupid!! I am a mother of a son and daughter and I for one say move in and try it out before you commit.

Haha I actually agree with the concept, kind of, but I have to say it...

Do you just wear one pair of shoes? Isn't it ok to wear a different pair of shoes to a party? For your man to wear a different pair of shoes to work????

You can hardly use shoes as a comparison to a human!

Lol

Are you only marrying your wife for the sex? After all, you try to shoes on because you only intend to wear them after buying them, and so want to be sure they're good. But is this how you should approach marriage?

You realize you're comparing a pair of shoes to a human being, right?

Yes, because you contaminate them with your dirty, smelly feet, and there are other people that might want to look at the shoes before they buy them.

The bible does not say trying on shoes is evil. It does say premarital sex is wrong. Period.

Where do you plan on buying your spouse? Do they let you try them on?

If a friend tell you that he will let you use his favorite things because you are his friend, and will tell you, that in exchange he will use your wife for sex everytime he borrows her, would you consent?
If you consider wife just a mere thing, I think you will consent.

Sure you can do that, but some men will use that excuse to sleep around.
