People talk about 'him' as if 'he' were a friend sitting next to them. Does anyone find it a little embarrassing? If you substituted that word 'god' for any other fictional character such as 'Superman' you'd be locked up pending physichiatric reports.

I know people who enjoy superman and other fictional characters and they are certainly NOT in jeopardy of being locked up, give me a break, please.
The reason you are hearing discussions of God is because you are in a Religious forum. Now put down the crack pipe (just for a brief second, don't freak out) and figure out where you are, what day it is,
and take a few deep breaths to get some regular oxygen into those lungs.

Ironically, you are doing a lot of the discussing, and asking others to discuss, and are you asking a serious question? because if you were, you'd realize that maybe people don't find it embarrassing because people are still discussing it. What answer were you looking for? "Yes we are so embarrssed so let's stop talking about it?" I think you were merely trying to upset people

I count it all joy for being embarrassed for the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I know you won't believe this, but because I know Jesus who walks with me, I can't be embarrassed or offended. I let it run off like water. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me because absent from the body present with the Lord. To fear no death is a freedom undescribeable. Praise the Lord.

Read the bible and history and you will know that God is not imaginary.
Observe nature and you will feel that God is not imaginary.
Go to to www.icr.org to find out interesting scientific facts that proves that God is not imaginary.
What is imaginary is your imagination that God is imaginary.
The devil wants you to believe that "Imagenary Doctrine" so that he can bring as many as he can, to hell.
