I think monotheism is the truth, perfectly expressed in Christ.

There is no "true" religion. Religion is simply a belief. Nothing has been, or can be proven about belief. Islam has an advantage over the other mono religions, because it came long after Judaism and Christianity, so it was able to copy some parts and leave out others. The new is always easier to follow than the old.

You may be right and I respect you for that. I believe Catholicism is the one true religion but I respect your right to believe what you believe. I cannot even assume you will have an awful afterlife. You might not. Your God and my God may turn out to be the same God manifest in two different ways. Maybe we will be neighbors in the afterlife. The true religion is the religion a person believes. 'With God all things are possible' so does that mean we might both be right? The Islamic belief in the Virgin Mary is one area where we are both right.

I was quite taken away by Islamic values I have to say, really amazing... To understand Islam, you should have an open mind...every question has an answer! And the answers all make sense....
But then again, I believe every religion teaches to do good...

I believe all Deity based religions stem from the truth, but due to man's distortion of some of those truths, we have a great deal of differences which can create confusion as to the complete truth. If organization is from God, then it should be no surprise that confusion is from Satan who has influenced man in his attempts to worship the true God. I, therefore believe that Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and other Deity based religions stem from the truth, but may or may not be the complete undistorted truth by way of Satanic influence of man's interpretation.

A religion that allows a man to kill his wife for adultery? A religion that Deny's a child the right to an education if she is a girl. (Taliban Afghanistan) a religion that claims that your god is so week that YOU must kill the unbelievers? A religion that promotes blowing up schools, buses, trains, airplanes, to get your point across? don't give me your song and dance about how that is not "true" Islam. from it founding in the 7th century, its primary goal has been to force everyone to "submit" to his (Mohammad's) belief. Jesus taught that if you go and tell the good news (gospel means good news) to a town and they refuse to listen and believe that you are to leave and as you leave knock the dust from your shoes showing that you leave them to their own destruction. What does Mohammad say to do? Leave them? or behead them? if that is truth, I'll take "false" Christianity any day.

I think Islam is an improved version of Christianity, as Christianity an improved version of judaism.

But religious people are such hypocrites. On earth, people are limited to few pleasures. No fornication, no alcohol, no music, no pork. But once you are admitted to Paradise, everything forbidden on earth is available to you. Alcohol, guiltless sex, and even pork.

Why can a religion teach people to live a happy life and be nice to other people?

I think the best religion is Confucianism. Check it out.

Any religion may be true but when one say a particular religion he should be certainly bias. No body wants to follow or live for it. they fight for it and wants to show the supremacy of ones religion there fore there is no problem about religion which religion is accepted by who but the problem is no body wants to follow .Any religion means work honestly ,help honestly be honest. Who of which religion do it. Possibly none.Karma is best religion. Dear HZNFRST has bluntly answered the question and I appreciate most. I have given star for him and some othwers.

In many parts of the world, you'd think that MONEY is the true religion, the way that people act.

Although I have doubts many times, I do consider Christianity to be true.

What I hope for is tolerance and peace amongst religions, because what kind of god would want war?

In any case, may the true God bless you in your endeavor to seek the Creator.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Believing in Islam is another topic.

Why don't you talk to people who were Islamic who converted to Christianity and see what they have to say? I've spoken with some, and it can be pretty interesting. One couple said whenever they go back to their country, they have to keep their mouths shut, or they would be put to death. Does a true religion stoop to such levels and behaviour? Truth at the point of a sword?
