try taking over the counter meds such as gas-x (found at local drugstores)

eating foods high in fiber might help too

-strawberries
-apricots
-whole grain breads,rolls,etc
-black eyed peas
-nuts/seeds

take a brisk 30 minute walk-this will help stimulate your digestive tract and help get the trapped gas moving

There is a yoga posture, I forget the name, it might even be called something like the Wind Relieving Posture...its sort of what you'd expect, you lie face down (use a nice clean towel for this, or sheet, or something clean) and raise your rear up while keeping your chest on the floor, in a few minutes nature takes its course. You might want to do a few crunches before, just to start things moving.

Are you talking about wind , wind like passing gas? If so my brother in-law gets on his knees with his bum in the air( sounds perverted) but he says it helps, or try laying on your side and rocking.

Do some body crunches...it works for me. Also ginger tea and peppermint can help with gas.
