Ok, I"m home with my 2 children ages 1 and 3 they are both asleep... In beds.... I have a baby monitor on and every so often I'm getting a man's voice/woman's voice..but not from a cell phone/cordless phone like people walking through a house and opening/closing doors and commenting... Like someone showing a house.... Also, ours neighbors have moved and there's no one living on either side of us. !!!! It's creepy...

You may be picking up another baby monitor in the neighborhood. It is certainly possible. Sort of like when they guy two blocks away has his garage door opener on the same frequency as yours. Try another monitor before you get spooked, the explanation is 99.99% guaranteed to be rational.

Seems like the frequency of the monitor is picking up someone some place. It can happen if 2 phones are near and the frequency is almost identical...sort of getting 2 AM radio stations mingling with each other.
I'd only start to worry if things start moving on there own or if there is someone standing over your shoulder and the cold chill runs down your neck and back.

If your neighbors moved, the voices are probably people looking at their houses. Maybe the realtors have some kind of monitor set up in the house because they want to know hear what people do and don't like about the house. I think it's a pretty good idea to sell. don't worry.

Yep, that is what is happening. Your monitor is picking up frequency from another phone or walkie talkie. I've had that happen while playing with walkie talkies. It was picking up phone conversations. Just goes to show we need to be careful what we say - "the walls have ears"!

Yes, that is pretty freaky. Those monitors are notorious for picking up cell phones, cordless phones and yes the occasional walkie talkie. God bless****

Rational or irrational, see it as something telling you something. The possiblities that the electric/electronic circuits in the house are connecting you somewhere are entirely possible. That's one dimension to the problem. Just be normally alert and take the normal precautions keeping an open eye for other such happenings. Check your circuits and be mindful of your kids. But don't start letting your imagination run riot. That would be an error.

I'd say your baby monitor is definitely picking up somebody's cell phone. Maybe it got accidentally turned on in a purse or pocket. That happened to mine more than once...

No need to be freaked out.

OK, now your starting to freak me out. That is so scary!! You actually hear a man/woman's voice? I think I would use up one of my lifelines and call a friend over:-) I don't do well at night along. Why have ALL your neighbors moved? Did they hear the voices too?

We used to pick up the neighbor's baby monitor. We could hear everything going on in their room. Check your monitor instructions and see if you can change your channel.

I don't know why you'd think it's creepy - it's obviously just a physical thing, your monitor picking up radio signals that it isn't intended to. It may be annoying, it may be a bit of a mystery, but it shouldn't be creepy. I would be interested and curious if it were me.
