I am not really the type of person that trys and determines my dreams, but this one keeps reacurring, and progressing. Let me explain. No matter what kind of dream I'm having I stat to fly. I've been having this type of dream for the past month or so. I use to have it when I was younger, but every few yrs, now I'm having this dream every night & each night I get better at flying, no matter what the dream is, happy, sad, scary, I fly at some point in it and my flying progresses in each dream every night. What does this interpret? Thanks

I do know that I'm not having an out body experience lol. I know that I'm dreaming, and that it's signifying something and I cannot point it out by myself. I definitely know it's NOT an outer body experience lol. It's like I'm floating and flying really slowly I'm not getting there too fast, but each dream I become more of a pro at it.

Dreams of flying symbolize that you may feel trapped in your life. Your brain and body feel like the only time you feel free and can express yourself is in your dreams. When you are flying, you are free to do whatever you want and I think that is your innermost desire. Enjoy those dreams, I have never had one.

Sounds good to me, you get better at flying as you get older, because you get more experience and skills to help you handle things, and this in turn offers you freedom......
Another possiblilty is that you could be having out of body experiences, which are registering on you as being a dream about flying, but the first explanation sounds more "right" to me...

i flew a lot as a kid same way more like a helicopter i could rise then move with the wind or control it to fly(glide) with power. you may be psychic and all the energy is releasing now. r u a loner near death experience etc... or most people you loved most as a child died. remember your dreams some may have the future in it you can't forget them. if thats so you will have to figure out the timeing of their outcomes .

Normally flying dream is a good and happy dream, it expressesyour freedom in your life. However, in your case, since you said you fly even when you are happy, sad or scared.

Then "flying" in your subconscious mind symbolizes way to avoid, express your true feeling. In other words, there is no other way to express your feelings. Flying seems to be the only way. In this case, flying represent "losing control". In our lives, if we are happy, we "let loose". If we are sad or scared, we either find some support or avoid or run away.
from it.

Somehow you tend to use one method to express all your feeling. and Flying is your method
