No, because Heaven doesn't exist. The rapture is just superstition. God isn't real.

People who are raptured go to Heaven. The question is not "if i'm raptured, will I go to Heaven," it's "Will I be raptured?"

As showned prophetically in the book of Revelation (last book in the Bible) the end of the world will begin with the rapture of all living Christians. Then 3 1/2 years will go by where a world ruler sets up a kingdom and makes a peace treaty with Israel. After the 3 1/2 years the world ruler will break the peace treaty with Israel, he will kill 2 people in Israel that did miracles and preached about Jesus. Lots of bad stuff will happen, war, then after a second 3 1/2 years Jesus will come back to earth and win the war.
That's the end story in a nutshell.

There are many different versions(beliefs) of the rapture. It is never mentioned in the Bible .Heaven is were you go when you are raptured.God will come back and take his faithful ones at that time.Than there will be 7 years of hell on earth. This is when the left behind are given a chance to find their faith. But it won't be that easy because "The" Antichrist will be ruling at this time and only people without a harden heart will be able to see this.Another version is that he comes back all is done in a twinkling of a eye.The faithful are swept up and anyone left is Satan's.Some believe you don't get that second chance .He has already given you a lifetime to figure it out.The only reason I wrote all this is because you didn't seem to know what the "true" rapture was or you wouldn't of asked this question Hope this helps you
God Bless

Hi Mark T. The word "rapture" is not found in the Bible. It is a theological term that describes an event found in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17:

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

When Christ returns on the last day, He brings all of those who have died in the Lord (they who were Saved). These True Believers will be in their Spirit or Soul essence. They will be reunited with their bodies they left here on earth. These bodies will be resurrected into Glorified Spiritual Bodies.

At the same time, those True Believers who are still alive when Christ returns will also receive their new Glorified Bodies. It is these True Believers who will be "caught up" or "raptured" to be with Christ in the air. This is what the rapture is.

As for the unsaved at this time, they will remain and go through the Judgment of God. All found guilty are then cast into Hell.

When this is finished, the true Believers will live with God in the New Heavens and the New Earth that God tells of in Revelation 21:1-3:

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God."

No one knows for sure. They can only speculate. The word rapture is never mentioned in the bible. The source of the rapture was Margaret Macdonald. After her sickness, during which she received visions and revelations, occurring sometime between February 1 and April 14, 1830, she came up with the idea of the rapture. By late spring and early summer of 1830, her belief in the two phases of Christ's coming was being mentioned in praise and prayer meetings in several towns of western Scotland.

That's exactly what happens in the rapture for those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Check out the first link below for a verse-by-verse look of the events leading up to the rapture.

After doing some research / bible study, I've come to believe that the Rapture is just the fiction series by LaHaye & Jenkins. (It's VERY good...I LOVED all of the books and will probably read them again!)

I believe in God with all of my heart, and I have accepted Christ as my Saviour. There is NO doubt in my mind that God exists, the bible is true, and Jesus died for my sins & was resurrected. I believe the book of Revelations - there WILL be a time of tribulation, there WILL be a judgment day, and anyone whose name is not in the Book of Life will be cast into Hell.

A true Christian does not believe in the Rapture. It is the figment of the imagination of a 19th century hysteric and has never been a part of mainstream Christianity. It's a spiritual 'get of jail free' card that claims that all you have to do is be 'saved' in order to be saved. Nonsense.

If you were/are a Christian who belived that Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross and rose again on the Third day. You must believe that when Jesus died, that he paid for every single sin in the world. All you have to do to go to heaven is repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ into your heart, believe that he paid the price for sin, and live the rest of your life for Him.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 says, "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
