Hi! Well, some people claim breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I'm with them. It's a bad habit to skip out of breakfast, as when you do have a little something in the morning, it gets your metabolism going for the day, and that way you have a fast metabolism, hence less weight put on.
Secondly, a good and healthy breakfast keeps you going till noon (or whenever you have lunch), and that way, you won't be starving until then, and you won' stuff yourself, rather you'll eat properly, because you haven't been going long without substantial food. That's why you should always include brekkie in your lifestyle and daily schedule, to be healthier and happier =)
It could be some yogurt you can have on the run, some cereal/oatmeal, a biscuit or a fruit, or a healthy combination of all. A once read a research that said that girls who ate any sort of breakfast (be in healthy or unhealthy), the majority had a lower BMI. It's your decision though, here are the facts! Hope I helped =]] xx

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Didn't anyone ever tell you that? Even a banana is better than nothing! Yes eating less in the morning will make you (like you said) starving! So then for lunch you will tend to take in more calories than you would if you would have had a healthy breakfast....Think about it! Start eating a healthy breakfast with juice or milk and you will eat less for lunch and dinner b/c you are less hungry throughout the day.

a) When you let your body go hungry like that for a long time, it is more likely to absorb and soak up more fat when you do feed it. If it is getting a little bit all the time, it keeps what it needs and passes the rest.
b) The sooner you start eating, the sooner your metabolism starts burning calories. Therefore, eating breakfast actually helps lose weight, especially if it is a moderately healthy breakfast.
Find something you can eat on the way or at your desk, maybe even something prepackaged. Make it as convenient as possible to ensure you keep it up.
Best of luck!

If your last meal of the day is 8 PM, and your first meal for the next day is at noon, then you would have gone 16 hours without eating. This will put you deep into starvation mode which will slow your metabolism. Also, the longer you are in starvation mode, the more your metabolism is slowed down.
This is why you will have a hard time finding someone who regularly skips breakfast and has a sculpted physique.

Skipping meals, esp. breakfast, is really bad. It signals your body that food is scarce so your body stores fat. Eating breakfast helps get your metabolism going in the morning. It has been proven that if you skip breakfast for 1 year, you will gain 10 lbs. because you will consume more calories, usually in the form of junk food, the rest of the day. If you feel you must skip a meal, eat breakfast and skip supper.

if you think about it you havent eaten anything since dinner the night before..so if you eat dinner at 6 at night, you sleep til 7 in the morning and you skip breakfast and dont eat until 12 o clock lunch, your depriving your body of food for 16 hours or more. thats a long time your body doesnt have anything to get its energy from..its not good.

Breakfast is to break your fast that you've put your body in for the last 8 to 10 hours. Is resets your body's food intake for the rest of the day. It gives you the evergy you need to perform morning tasks. If you skip it, you are stressing your body, making it think that you are in an starvation mode, with causes your metabolism to stop and reserve/store calories into fat in case of emergency (in case you don't eat). So, eat...and your metabolism won't stop. The more metabolism, the more energy to be put into use, and the more calories you'll burn in order to be / stay fit.

Eating less does make you fatter. Instead of properly digesting the food, it instead turns it into fat because your body thinks you're low on food and needs to conserve energy.
Breakfast is important because it improves your quality of life. Start eating breakfast and you'll find you feel better.
Your body need nutrients for the long day ahead.
