i have been speakin online to a guy for a few months on a daily basis for hours at a time,and also on the phone,we have also exchanged photos,and have spoken via web cam...it semms bizarre but im sure i love him and he has told me he thinks he loves me.....is it possible?we are going to meet up next week,,,

to fall in love with someone you have to know them, if you feel you know him well enough then of course its possible.

The only thing that an online relationship can't prepare you for is the physical presence of that person. For example, you don't know what his body language, manuerisms, or personal habits are like. These may seem like small issues but when you don't know somebody this way but think about them alot your imagination will fill in these gaps. So he won't match exactly what you're imagining in this regard, he may even have some habits that really get on your nerves. At the end of the day though, this is a very small concern for the unconceited person. So as long as you go into it with an open mind and without any unrealsitic expectations I dont' see any reason why you too can't get used to each others presence just like you already have done in every other regard online. I suppose it's possible to fall in love without meeting the person. Although there is a lot to that physical connection. Just remember that it's easy to "be who you want to be" when your not face to face. There is also a lot to be said. I believe you fall in love over time, and usually don't realize it's love until you have had some fights, and made some compromises. Until that point it's just a strong connection. In person, or on line it's hard to know someone in that short of a time.

Be very cautious....
I wish you well but try and keep an open mind when you meet up with him.....after all it is being with someone that really counts in whether you are compatible etc.....
It is easier to bond via e-mail / speaking on the phone as it is a sense of escapism....being somewhat surreal.......that is attractive, fun and is different from the day to day grind that a lot of us have to go through.
It would be very exiciting and give hope to a lot of people if he does turn out to be Mr Right...so go for it girl and good luck.

It's normal and possible to fall in love on a person you haven't meet personally yet, sometimes it's not the presence which matters, it's the mutual feeling, eagerness to extend a hand and be with the person. Just let the feeling flow. Been there...

It is possible believe me. This is how I met my partner. I had never even seen a picture of him and I fell in love !! It was his idea for us to meet in an open space and as soon as I saw him I knew it was him !! We are still together 2 years on and very happy.

Just remember that he may still be selfish in bed, leave you with a child in 5 years, hit you, be very lazy, flirt with your friends, be more boring than you ever believed........
but you may still be in love and he with you. My point is that being in love or the status of true love is sometimes not the most important question that you face

It is not bizarre.My bf of 10 years, the daddy of my 3 kids,thinks he loves a woman he has been speak in with on line for a few months on a daily basis...He told you he [THINKS]he loves you......IT IS SICK .....NOT BIZARRE.

i think its possible that you might feel a connection but i dont think you can call it love.......remember its online and telephones not face to face....you can write and say anything when its not in person...evn though their have been alot of online success stories there have also been some not so good...just be carefull and after youve met him take your time to make sure that what you think youre feeling is really that
