I’m finishing up an electric car conversion. I have plans drawn up to make a trailer/gas generator for long drives but would hate to defeat all my hard work making it a gas hybrid. Does anyone know of a way to make a portable generator operate off of hydrogen? Or if you can think of an entirely different solution then that would be great too.

The last time I was on at the www.fuelcellstore.com they had a hydrogen powered generator. Also, I believe www.knowledgepublications.com has one available. I'm converting a gasoline generator to run on hydrogen myself this weekend.

Fuel Cell.

A few solar cells on the roof might charge a battery that would be good for *some* power.
