It's a Canon scanner.
CanoScan 8400F
It has 4 buttons.
1st one says COPY
2nd one says SCAN
3rd one says PDF
and 4th one says E-MAIL
I click on scan but it won't work. What's wrong with it? I've never used it befor.

Try using Windows scanning wizard.
Start->Settings->Control Panel and double click on the Scanners and Cameras icon.
Right click the name of your scanner and follow the setps of the wizard.

The buttons on your scanner are programmable.
Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your scanner to learn how to program them.

id say you have been scammed big time or theirs something wrong because our 3 in one scanner,copyer and scanner stuffed up like that and we had to get ours replaced.
