I lost nearly 100 lbs over the last few years. I lost about 60-70 lbs quickly in a matter of about 6 months. It has resulted in excess skin on my arms, thighs and abdomen. I also had a baby (no c-section) last October. The pregnancy did not stretch out my skin, as at the 40 week mark I still had some drooping skin from the weightloss. I've noticed that somehow the pregnancy helped with bringing my skin back in.

So my question is.. is it possible the skin will go back to normal over time? I am only 21. I was told by someone else that a young friend lost a large amount of weight and eventually the skin went back to normal. I don't want to go through the pain of post-op recovery as just having a episiotomy was hard on me. Breastfeeding has also seemed to somehow help my breasts with sagging. I'm not sure how this is possible but even my husband has noticed that I look better after having the baby.

I guess it's possible. I think some of it is genetics as far as how elastic your skin is. If you and your husband think you look better since the baby maybe just give it a little more time. However, if you just don't think your skin will shrink back, find a reputable doctor and make an appt for a consultation and ask lots of questions. Good luck.

Definitely give your body time and see how much the skin reduces. This is possible. And it would be far healthier to have this happen naturally. Massage cocoa butter into your skin every day to Help place back moisture which will help with the elasticity.

Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
