This question is not for individuals sending money! My husband has als and going for a treatment not covered by insurance any suggestions on how to get reimbursed or are there grants out there?

You should consider talking to an attorney (make that a few attorneys) about setting up your estate to care for him and protect you at the same time. The health insurance pays for what it pays for.

There's really no programs for things like this. Your best bet is to make a payment plan with the provider, keep your reciepts, and if it's expensive enough, itemize it on your taxes.

There are no grants or "reimbursement" programs. Someone will have to pick up a second job.

Contact local churches and charitable organizations. Often these groups pay medical bills for needy families.
