There is definite cause for alarm. When it is that Congress votes legislation every committee that passes it along adds something more to it so in the end the original form is mostly unrecogizable let alone hidden agendas buried in the fine print which could for " Assualt Weapons Ban" have something in their regarding our 308's or 30-30 carbine hunting rifles. It is very dangerous to our gun ownership rights no matter what the main topic reads in bold type at the top of the 1st page.

guns isn't the problem..it's people......to put a BAN on assault weapons is a GOOD thing if the judges will enforce it when offenders is brought before them.
this bill is only on ASSAULT WEAPONS which is not needed for hunting or protection.....every time a GUN BILL comes up we see these so called RIGHT PROTECTORS come to our rescue.....where are they when our children is violated and mutilated by the hand of sex criminals?....with thousands of sex offenders released from prison each year and the number of parents abusing their children we have a whole lot more to be concern about then a GUN BAN.....

McCarthy's introduced many bills including the re-auth of the AWB, and she included a bunch of other weapons the Garand is included, basically any semi-auto except maybe the Remington 742 . Give her time she will get to that.

She is a dangerous woman. I monitor get proposals closely, inform my representatives of my concern about it. Luckily all my representatives are hunters and NRA GOA members in good standing.

Give it up, you are trying to use logic and facts on liberals, it is kind of like pointing out that the Bushmaster was left in the trunk of the car at Sandy Hook and ALL of the murders were committed with hand guns, or the fact that almost ALL of the mass shootings in the past four years have been committed by registered democrats or self proclaimed liberals.

You'd think they'd learn. That's what lost them control of Congress the last time.
