We are very respect-oriented. When we feel a lack of respect where respect is due we demand it.
I almost got into a fight a few days ago. Then I realized how small he is, and that if I beat him up I'll look like a jerk even though he's in the wrong (he gave me attitude when I simply asked him to move his head so I could see the prof.'s writing). I am not a big guy myself mind you. He's that small.
That, and because we aren't good at expressing ourselves through words.

Guys fight fr many reasons .. First it's to inpress girls . secondly is honour , our pride is very inportant to us , 3rd , if somebodsy messes with girls we know r our friends , we feel as being guys , it's our duty to protect them , Imagine sombody just started swaring u , if u have a good guy friend , he will stop teh other person . And last it's the way we are bought up , guys solve thier problems the wild way , by fighting , no talking ...........

Not all guys fight you know. I think this question is kind of stereotypical. You wouldn't like it if I said all women belong in the kitchen would you? Well I don't respect your question either.

I will to defend my gf or myself or anybody who cant stand up for themselves, but just to be better than someone, well I dont have to convince myself, and I have proved it unfortunately in front of a few family members and friends, I didnt say on I said in front of.

it's an egotistical thing. guys like to show they can put up a fight. if they show signs of weakness, they won't look good in front of their friends, and so it's also in that way a matter of pride
