This is a question for serious dog lovers who can look at a dog and identify them right away. My girlfriend and I have a pomeranian and we've been told plenty of times that people think she's not a purebread. I dont know how to identify dogs like that so we have NO IDEA what she can be mixed with. Her name's Chuchi and from what we were told by the seller she's a purebread. What do you think? She looks like an American Eskimo Spitz mix to me. She has the coloring of this breed as well as the Pomeranian. I listed the page I looked at to make sure but this is what I thought as soon as I saw her.

She looks very much like a Long-Haired Chihuahua and a Pomeranian mix.
At first glance, I thought a Pom x American Eskimo, but she is much too petite for that mixture and an AmEsk-Pom cross would have a thicker coat, not as fluffy.

Why I think Long-haired Chihuahua and Pom:
Your dog, Chuchi, isn't the typical color of a Pom and she doesn't have a typical coat texture of a Pom. It's not as tight, but more fluffy. A LHC has soft, loose long hair, and a Pom has fuzzy, tightly bunched together hair. Chuchi has a mixture of the two coat types, as well as the lighter color of a LHC, but darker highlights like a Pom.

Chuchi's ears are far too big to be only Pom. She has very distinct ears...Chihuahua ears and the long, fly-away hairs on her ears like a LHC.

Her face is also a mix of a Pom and Chi. She doesn't have a tiny muzzle like a Pom, or a bulbous forehead like a Chi. She has more a normal looking dog face which is most probably the result of the two breeds breeding together and creating Chuchi.

A purebred puppy, a good-bred, cautiously deliberate and reared one must consistently rate greater than a mutt. However this present day BYBs are naming their fee, placing a complicated (dull) title on what they're generating, and calling them infrequent fairly most likely. Sadly there are gullible men and women available in the market who consider all this and facet with their difficult-earned cash for anything they're informed is 'greater'. Provided you uncover a official breeder (most of the time by way of the crucial Breed Club), pass discuss with and investigate the situation out, see mum with the clutter and a few adults they have got, good judgment must inform you that that is a long way much more likely to deliver you a healthful dog. BYBs do not scan, use inventory at the beginning rejected from a breeder's breeding programme on account that of a giant fault or 2 and so bought as a puppy with the purpose it must by no means reproduce. It concerns to not a BYB re registration, so even though the puppies involved are recommended no longer for breeding, they only pass forward. If you do not peculiarly wish 'a breed', please undertake from a Shelter and DON'T give a contribution to the earnings of the BYB.

Your dog is a cutie! I have had poms and used to work at petsmart. Your doggie has a snout that is not a normal size for a pom.The ears are also large! I would say you have a mixed doggie. Did you get AKC papers? If not, I would be positive that your dog is a mix. But who cares, your doggie is a cutie. Hell I'm a mutt too! lmao! My bf still loves me!

I would really doubt that Chuchi is purebred. She looks like a Pomeranian/American Eskimo mix or a Pomeranian/Japanese Spitz mix. Unless she is AKC registered, there is no guarantee she is purebred. No matter what she is, she is ADORABLE.

looks like a Pom to me! Her name may be throwing people off. They probably think she is mixed with a chihuahua. Her "lion cut" is making her look a bit strange, also.
Beautiful baby, though. Love the pic with the blue glasses!

My guess is she is a pom from either a pet stone or a byb. I would say she's a few generations away from poms with correct conformation. She's still cute as a button.
