I am probably going to be flamed over this one. I see where a couple other folks said that "denying Jesus" is the only unpardonable sin. To elaborate on that, we are all sinners, we all fall short of the grace of God. The truth is, the others have the right idea, but even after we accept Jesus, we are still sinners. Just forgiven sinners. We must always try to be good people, and stay in the light of God. When we fail, God will still forgive us for this, since we have acknowledged the death and resurrection of his son, Jesus. Yes, God will forgive gluttony, murder, stealing, and all that, as well. If you do not acknowledge Jesus, there will be no forgiveness for you.

That we have left God and came here in this rotten material world to try to imitate Him. This was the most foolish thing we could ever do and still we are paying the price for it - birth, death, old age, disease.
Even more foolish would be if we do nothing to rectify the situation in this human life. This will be the greatest sin.

The ultimate sin is to take another's life. Whether it's human or animal life. The most precious thing around is life itself. To take a life is the utmost disrespectful and sinful thing to do.

In my opinion, we are being distracted by labeling 'sins'.
I say this because I believe we have a grave misunderstanding of what sin is.
Sin is a state of being - it is all encompassing and all consuming (unless we are able to overcome it with through the saving blood of Jesus).
It affects the entire earth and everything in it. That's why we can say that lying is the same as stealing is the same as murder is the same as etcetc
We are born to sin. We must overcome it by accepting Jesus as our Saviour. He saves by grace because ALL fall short. This isn't a condemning "or else" statement - it's a statement of love and acceptance. "I love you regardless of what you look like, what you have done, what you say..." He loves us with abandon and he wants us to be able to overcome our state of being to reconcile ourselves BACK to Him.
The only think that the Lord cannot accept from us is rejection of His spirit - that is the only unforgivable sin. God offers us FREEDOM. rejection of it means we can't be with Him. He grieves for the choices we make because He knows what is best for us.

blessings :)

Faith.

Blind faith especially.

It has led to all manner of evil on Earth.

At present it is behind Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, The Lords Army, ... The list is simply endless.

Pride. Thats the one that ruins so many. Its the one that sneaks up on people. So many people never understand the danger of pride till they fall to it and no amount of warning will change their course. Pride is the worst because so few people believe its a problem till it gets them.

I'd say misleading people about sin, pretending it is something real and using it to engender guilt and to manipulate people. I would say that is the biggest and only sin.

No sin is greater or bigger than another in Gods eyes. You could kill someone and it would be the same as if you had stolen a penny from someone. A sin is a sin.

All sin can be forgiven but one. If you don't believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins, that is the only unpardonable sin. Thanks for asking, and have a Super day!
