My boyfriend gave me a stuffed octopus that kept him from slipping into unconsciousness when he was in a car accident at the age of 3. It literally saved his life, and now I sleep with it every night. It makes me feel safe.

I'm a grown @$$ woman answering this question completely honestly...my stuffed dog. Remember "Pound Puppies?" The original ones? I have the one that I got the Christmas when I was seven years old. I'm not suprised that my kids have security blankets....
