The color of roses mean different things. Red-love. Yellow-friendship, etc. If you're giving them to a girlfriend, I don't think they have to be roses. Heck, you don't even have to give flowers. Any token of affection would be appreciated unless the person has specifically made it known she wants flowers. Ask a florist for the different meanings behind the colors of roses or ask another question here?

Rename it as Cupid's day and you can use a Lotus, The Ashoka, The Mango flower, The Navamalika. and The Jasmine. Sufficient Variety to begin with!.By the way, these are far more effective to entice a willing girl.

rose is an anagram of eros, who is also known as cupid, who is the son of venus, also known as the morning star which in turn is also known as lucifer. any flower will do, but best to leave them to grow, they look more beautiful that way.
