Siamese cats are cream colored. That's close to white. Although siamese have "points" that add color to their appearance -- some are darker than others. Persians can be white, but boy they're high maintenance due to the hair. There are just plain old domestic short hairs that are white (I have one). I'm sure you could find one if you looked at rescue groups and such. And you'd be doing a service by giving a rescue cat or kitten a home rather than purchasing from a breeder. Be careful though no matter where you get the cat -- because with some white cats, their hearing is affected. Whatever gene makes them white also affects their hearing and they are prone to deafness. It's even more common with blue eyed white cats.
