Alright debunking time:
Radiation belt - Van Allen belts are present, but their radiation effects are too low to be considered a factor (James Van Allen, the discoverer said it himself)
Space debris - If you take the mass of small particles into account, force of acceleration upon impact is tiny. Russian cosmonauts lived in space (space station Mir) for years at a time with no penetration by space particles, that is fact not fiction. Any debris in space usually ends up orbiting plants or the sun due to the corresponding gravitational fields.
Tesla death ray - Tesla died before he could persuade governments to take him seriously on his death ray, to date no government has conducted further research on this theoretical weapon.
Space environment - With adequete conditions space travel is possible. Prevent temperature extremes using reflective materials, prevent radiation due to particles using aluminium (stops beta radiation), gamma unprotectable, but only at high levels during solar flares. Moon landings conducted when solar flares and radiation levels are low enough. The time the astronauts were exposed to these levels of radation are too low to cause any significant risk to the body. Chance of developing cancers are increased, but radiation levels are not enough to kill.
The best evidence comes from Earth, each landing left behind a refractor, a mirror of sorts from which a laser directed at it from earth will be reflected back. This is used to measure accurately the earth-moon distance and is definative proof that man went to the moon.

There is no worthwhile evidence that they did not go. If if it had been faked, the fake would have been spotted almost at once by the scientists of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada and almost every other country from A to Z. And someone from NASA would have blabbed by now, nearly 40 years later.
One may as well believe in the Bermuda triangle balderdash, that the Earth is flat, that the Universe is at most several thousands of years old or that there are fairies at the bottom of the garden.

And in the 1960s, in the time and day of the Cold War, the US and Soviet Union would have had what particular reason to care about the potential hazards of space travel?
Unlike, say, applications of fission technology, sending e rocket up with four crew only risks four lives, not hundreds of thousands.
What would really interest me is how the remarkable twits that are hoax and conspiracy theorists would care to explain how sattelites survive in orbit.
That's the pieces of electronic hardware that shouldn't be able to survive excessive amounts of radiation, either, but seem to be doing an admirable job of allowing nutcases around the world to use satellite TV to spread their wild, inconsistent theories.

contrary to that one answer there was only one moon landing. and as far as do ppl believe that we landed on the moon only the ones with brains know we did. of course the idiots in this world think there is a stage at area 51 or in some Hollywood studio. if u had a strong enough telescope u could see the flag left by the astronauts. and as far as ur radiation crap goes they were safe. its called shielding the ship and the suits then and now make risk of radiation poisoning of no concern. in fact radiation although once outside of the electromagnetic field of the earth is high enough to cause death. its the temperature and lack of oxygen that is the real danger.

You've never read about real science and space research, have you?
Dr James van Allen himself specifically stated that the belts that bear his name are no barrier to manned flight in deep space. Shield the spacecraft with appropriate materials (which, whatever you may read in ludicrous conspiracy theories, have never included feet of lead shielding) and you can get through the belts with no ill effects.
I do not 'believe' men landed on the Moon. I have studied the evidence in detail for the past seven years, and I have come to the only conclusion that makes sense in the face of the VAST amount of evidence is that we DID go to the Moon. That's not a belief, that is a soundly derived conclusion.

You know, this kind of gullibility only makes you look more foolish than the person(s) who convinced you to fall for this nonsense in the first place.
One only needs high school level physics to debunk all of the "moon hoax" stupidity. High school level...not advanced, subtle, tricky physics.
Don't fall for that stuff. Remember: ALL pseudo-science conspiracy theories are NOT about science (or real history), they're solely about praying on gullible half-wits in order to make money. Sooner or later you'll find a t-shirt, book, DVD (or CD, or VHS), "Society" newsletter, etc., offer that can be yours for only $ 19.95!
Enough already!

yes well the moon trip... The flag, lighting and so forth. Space weather. Solar wind speed: 467.0 km/sec
density: 4.3 protons/cm3. Lighting., Perhaps it was spec ed to keep people from the main game of magnetic driven spaceflight. Course they went, there may have been something up they to see. That's why JFK was shot, because he offered a seat to the Russians as a gesture of good will. And to save their jobs the secret service killed their boss. I feel so good being human (not)

interesting recap of most of the crackpot theories; but the overwhelming proof is that man landed on the moon; more than once.
